Enjoy a tantalizing evening of lobster and crab, storytelling and Louisbourg tales, all while wearing an 18th century costume! Our dining room is the perfect place for a relaxing flavour -filled evening. Know how to crack a lobster? If not, we’ll be glad to show you how! Tom steams our main courses outside in the great outdoors, just before you sit down to eat – and we serve them up Cape Breton style. Choose from market lobster, snow crab, halibut or roasted half chicken – served with homemade potato salad and coleslaw, vegetable garnishes, freshly baked rolls and piping hot tea and coffee. Top it all off with delicious ginger cake with whipped cream. Stay after dinner for a sing song or a walk on the beach and enjoy the wonders of our salty ocean breezes and the majestic view of the 18th century Fortress.
