Culture Fete

A three-day festival with an encampment! See the streets come alive with the sights, sounds, and tastes of 18th-century Louisbourg. Interact with town residents and see how they cook, do lace making, blacksmithing and more. Enjoy demonstrations from Louisbourg Tradesmen, visit our craft vendors, and learn the story of the New France rum trade. There’s lots to see, smell, and taste at Culture Fete.
