Brandon Collier has been surrounded by music all his life. Getting started playing guitar at the age of 14, he has wasted no time in making a name for himself in Cape Breton’s vibrant music scene. With strong country influences, Brandon’s performances offer something that will appeal to a wide range of listeners. In addition to singing and playing guitar, he also writes his own material and is in process of completing some recording projects. Audiences around Cape Breton can regularly catch Brandon at local hot-spots either on his own, or as the front man for Cape Breton’s hottest new country rock group – Freight Train.
Kempt has been a staple on stage since we opened the doors of the Playhouse, having performed in (and written for) many of our main stage productions over the years. He also has a solo cd to his credit, and keeps a busy schedule of solo and two-piece performances with long-time musical cohort, Mark MacIntyre.
Since February of this year, Brandon and Jason have been teaming up to perform at venues all over Cape Breton including several performances at ECMA, Casino Nova Scotia, and numerous popular clubs. They’re looking forward to seeing you at the Playhouse!
