Keltic Drive will take you on a musical and visual journey giving it’s audience a glimpse at what it’s like to have been brought up in such a vast musical community, You’ll hear Songs from our greatest songwriters, Tributes to our biggest singers, Traditional fiddle tunes from well known Fiddlers, and even a step or two. All performed with a backdrop of picturesque scenes from our beautiful Island. Keltic Drive is made up of some of the busiest and most talented musicians that Cape Breton has to offer. Kimberley Fraser, a graduate of The Berklee College of Music, is regarded as one of the stellar players of the Cape Breton fiddle tradition. A winner of the East Coast Music Award for best Roots/Traditional Album of the Year, Kimberley remains one of the busiest musicians and teachers on the island. Lyndon MacKenzie is an artist who comes from a long line of well known traditional players. To say this guy is versatile is an understatement. He can pick out a Celtic tune with the best of them yet can play everything from country to rock with ease. Emily Dingwall is a Cape Breton-based musician who is often sought out for her smooth harmonies, soulful bass additions and her chameleon-like ability to blend into any musical situation. This has made Emily the most sought after bass player in Nova Scotia. Aaron Lewis is a member of the Canadian Irish group The Carlton Show Band. He also has his own solo country career which has spawned 6 national singles on Country Radio. In the studio, Aaron has contributed his musical talents to over 150 CD projects as both a musician and a background vocalist. He has also produced over 15 recording projects for other artists.
