Born July 31, 1966 in the small town of Hawkesbury in Ontario, Marc was the youngest of 4 children. He started playing music at the age of 10. He still remembers his mother driving him on a weekly basis to his singing and guitar lesson. After high school, his intention was to go to college in music, so he had an interview and got accepted at Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario in their music program. But instead of pursuing his music dream, he enrolled in the Canadian Armed Forces and became a radar technician. His first posting in 1989 was Sydney, Nova Scotia on the beautiful Cape Breton Island. In July 1994, Marc decided to make the Island of Cape Breton his home for his family. Never to lose his passion of music, he always continued playing as much as he could. Then in 2012, he started writing his own songs which lead to his first CD which is released in June 2013. Music with a Celtic, modern folk with somewhat country feel, not to exclude one blue grass song, and could be classified contemporary.
